Vaisala's MM70 handheld Moisture in Oil tester with HUMICAP sensor ensures stable and reliable measurement results. The probe of the moisture meter can be inserted directly into the process line through the ball valve, eliminating the need to drain the system of oil. MM70 measures moisture in oil based on water activity (aw) and temperature (T). The water activity is a direct indicator of the danger of free water in the oil. The measurement is not affected by the type of oil, use time and temperature.

ppm value calculation：

The MM70's built-in mathematical model can represent the moisture content of mineral transformer oil in ppm. Customers can input up to three oil types into the handheld meter's memory.

The MM70 can be connected to one or two probes simultaneously. This feature allows users to use the additional Vaisala dew point or relative humidity probe for other purposes. For example, the dew point probe is suitable for detecting moisture inside the tank after cleaning and drying.

Connect to a computer：

The optional MI70Windows® connection software is combined with a USB connection cable for transferring recorded and real-time measurement data from the MM70 to the computer.
