The intelligent dew point and temperature probe DMP8 is designed for industrial low humidity applications with pressures up to 40 bar. Typical applications include industrial drying, compressed air systems and applications in the semiconductor industry. The DMP8 itself comes with 1/2 inch NPT or ISO thread bolts for adjustable insertion depth. With the optional ball valve mounting kit, the probe can be inserted into or removed from the pressure line under pressure.

Designed for pressure piping: The intelligent DMP8 is designed for measuring dew point in low humidity and pressure piping for industrial applications. The working pressure is 0... 4 MPa (0 ... 40 bar). Due to the sliding seal design, the probe mounting depth can be easily adjusted. With the ball valve mounting kit, the probe can be easily inserted or removed from the pressure process.
Fast reaction time and stability at low dew points: The DRYCAP® sensor is immune to particles, condensation, oil mist and most chemicals. The sensor is resistant to condensation and can recover and work well even in liquid water. Fast reaction time and reliable stability make it also provide good performance in dynamic low dew point applications. Moreover, it has high stability and can provide a long calibration interval (two years).
Use alone or with Indigo transmitter: The Intelligent DMP8 is part of the Vaisala Indigo family, so it can also be used with the Vaisala Indigo200 transmitter. These transmitters also have additional features, such as a display that visually presents data, easy access for probe setup, and more options for automation system connections, power voltage, and wiring. The built-in RS-485 Modbus RTU communication protocol means the DMP8 can be used as a standalone device or easily integrated into third-party systems. When using the DMP8 independently or in conjunction with the Indigo transmitter, it can be connected to the Vysala Insight software for easy field calibration, probe configuration and device analysis.
