GPS 18x is an OEM high sensitivity GPS sensor for automotive, fleet vehicles and electronic applications requiring small, high precision GPS receivers.

This highly sensitive, 12-channel, Waas-enabled GPS receiver is available in CMOS-level serial or USB2.0 full-speed versions with an integrated magnetic base. The disc receiver is 2.4 inches (6.1 cm) in diameter and weighs just a few ounces, making it an ideal solution for tight space applications.

GPS 18x offers 3 different cable configurations. All 3 versions of GPS 18x come with non-volatile memory for storing configuration information, real-time clock and raw measurement output data for complex customer applications.

1. GPS 18x PC -- with DB-9 pin serial connector with 9 V cigarette lighter adapter; Data can be output in NMEA 0183 format (industry standard) or in proprietary Garmin format.

2, GPS 18x USB - with A type A USB connector, compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 full speed host; Data can only be output in Garmin-exclusive format.

3, GPS 18x LVC - with bare wire, can connect to a variety of applications; Can be in NMEA 0183 format (industry standard) or proprietary Garmin format output data; Provides a logic level output of pulses per second, with rising edges aligned within 1 microsecond of UTC time.

The GPS 18x OEM is a highly sensitive GPS sensor that replaces the GPS 18 OEM.
