The Humidity and temperature module HMM170 is a rugged, open transmitter that can be integrated into environmental chambers that require accurate and reliable measurements, even under harsh conditions such as vacuum or high pressure. Durable: The module is durable and easy to integrate into the chamber and circuit board. Digital and three configurable analog output channels are provided to ensure compatibility with most chamber types. In addition to relative humidity and temperature, dew point and other calculated parameters are provided.

Designed for harsh environments

While test Settings are increasingly demanding (e.g. 95% relative humidity and 95°C (203°F)), the HMM170 measurement capability covers the entire climate chamber temperature range and the entire humidity range up to condensation. The instrument can also withstand vacuum conditions and pressures up to 10 bar.

Rugged sensor technology

In addition to the recognized accuracy and stability of the Vaisala HUMICAP sensor technology, HUMICAP®® R2 complements this with improved corrosion resistance. With automatic purging and probe heating, the sensor tolerates typical chemicals and prevents water from condensing.

Easy to use

The modular design of digital (RS-485/Modbus RTU) and three configurable analog output channels makes installation easy. The integrated service port allows for quick configuration and calibration via the Vysala Insight PC software and USB cable.
