PHOTO IONIZATION DETECTORS can measure VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and some toxic gases in the range (50ppb to 6000ppm). Many hazardous materials contain VOC, PID, because of its high sensitivity to VOC, has become an indispensable practical tool for early hazardous substances alarm, leakage monitoring and so on. At present, the service life of the bulb is greatly extended by upgrading the bulb and the internal IC.
