PR-23-A sanitary refraction instrument

The sanitary refractometer PR-23-A enables accurate on-line measurement and control of Brix and concentration in dairy, liquid food and beverage applications, as well as pharmaceutical and biotechnology processes.The 3-A Health certified refractometer is ideal for hygienic processing, with its online monitoring and control capabilities helping to improve product quality and reduce costs.Sanitary compact refraction instrument PR-23-AC Suitable for installation in 2.5 "and smaller pipes. The sensor can be connected via a flow tank, sanitary clamp, or Varivent®, or mounted directly on the outside corner of the bend at an Angle.Sanitary probe refraction instrument PR-23-AP Suitable for installation on large pipe, storage tank, steamer, crystallizer, can withstand up to 150°C (300 °F) high temperature. The sensor is mounted in the pipe or container with a 2.5 - or 4-inch sanitary clamp.Sanitary flush refraction instrument PR-23-APP Install on cooking tanks, cooling crystallizing tanks and other sanitary grade containers with spatula or stirrer. The PR-23-APP sensor is mounted on the bottom flange of the APV tank or through a steam jacket.

The refractometer can perform 0-100 Brix full scale measurements. The accuracy is usually ±0.1 Brix, and temperature compensation is automatically made when measuring. Low and high concentration alerts can be configured. Because of the digital sensing technology, even a large number of suspended particles, bubbles or color changes do not affect the measurement or accuracy. Each sensor is accompanied by a calibration certificate based on a comparison of a set of standard liquids to the actual sensor output. Calibration and accuracy can be verified in the field using certified refractive index liquids and Vaisala validation procedures.

Health Certification: The 3A mark ensures that the sanitary refractometer PR-43-A complies with health Standard 3A No. 46-04 (devices for measuring fluid concentrations with refractometers or energy absorption optical sensors) and that it has passed an independent third party verification inspection authorized for the 3A mark.

Maintain accurate and stable measurement at full scale: Accurate measurement over the entire concentration range of 0-100 brim: R.I. nD ±0.0002 usually corresponds to ±0.1 brim or ±0.1% percent by weight. Measurements are not affected by bubbles, particles, color, or vibration. The system supports CIP and SIP cleaning.

No regular maintenance: there are no moving parts that need regular maintenance in the refraction meter, complete digital instrument, no drift calibration, no need to recalibrate or mechanical adjustment.
