The 1410 model generates a digital pulse sequence, where the pulse density (number of pulses per second) is proportional to the applied acceleration. It requires a+5V single power supply and a TTL/CMOS level clock from 100kHz to 1MHz. The output is proportional to the clock frequency and independent of the power supply voltage. Two forms of digital signals are provided for direct interface with microprocessors or counters. The sensitive axis is perpendicular to the bottom of the packaging, and positive acceleration is defined as the force pushing the bottom of the packaging. External digital line drivers can be used to drive long cables or in noisy environments.
