Cloud Access Point CA10 is part of the Vaisala Jade Intelligent Cloud system. CA10 is a wireless network hardware device that connects the CWL100 data recorder to the Jade Intelligent Cloud service. The CA10 supports data logger management from the cloud interface. Access points always require an Internet connection to operate. The CA10 access point and CWL100 data logger are associated with a specific Vaisala Jade Smart Cloud account at the time of purchase, so the user does not need to perform any device pairing operations.

Main Advantages:

Integrity of data

Data is encrypted during LoRa transmission to prevent eavesdropping, data tampering, and transmission errors.

Time synchronization

The CA10 automatically synchronizes with the Network Time Protocol (NTP) server over the Internet.

Reliability

If the data logger has a connection problem, it will automatically connect to another available nearby access point in the system. At least two access points with available capacity are required for failover.
