Equipped with many useful features, the DLPCA-200 is the preferred choice for countless applications requiring conversion of small currents to manageable output voltages. For example, it is well suited for DC measurements, time-resolved measurements in the range as low as µs and for use as a preamplifier for locking systems or photodiodes.
The DLPCA-200 offers all the features you would expect from A high-end general purpose current amplifier: adjustable gain from 10 3 to 10 11 V/A, adjustable bias and offset voltages, switchable 10 Hz low-pass filter measurements for low-noise DC, and switchable AC/DC coupling. All basic Settings can be controlled directly on the device or remotely via a digital interface, for example using a PC. All are mounted in a rugged, compact and EMC compliant housing, allowing amplification of the signal close to the source.
Bandwidth and frequency response independent of the source capacitanceIn contrast to other similar amplifiers, the FEMTO DLPCA-200 does not require any special tuning for different signal sources, such as frequency compensation or similar tuning. Gain values and bandwidths are guaranteed for all stages regardless of the source capacitance, up to a value of 1 nF.
For time-resolved measurements of fast signals, the DLPCA-200 has a special "high speed" mode that guarantees a short rise time even at high gains. If some applications do not require full bandwidth to support the highest sensitivity, accurate DC current measurements in the low to subpicoamp range can be performed by switching to a 10 Hz bandwidth.
