Settings on the device and through the digital interface
The DHPCA-100 is equipped with a number of useful features that make it a variable MHz amplifier suitable for all applications where small currents need to be quickly converted into usable output voltages. It is ideal for DC and AC measurements up to 200 MHz, time-resolved measurements in the low ns range, and as a preamplifier for fast locking systems.
The many features of the DHPCA-100 include: Adjustable gain from 10 2 to 10 8 V/A, adjustable bias and offset voltages, switchable 10 MHz and 1 MHz low-pass filters, switchable AC/DC coupling, and all important options can control functions either directly on the device or through a digital interface (e.g. using a PC). All are housed in rugged, compact, and EMC compliant housing, allowing amplification directly at the source without the need for long cables or interfering signals.
Bandwidth and frequency responseThe DHPCA-100 performed best in terms of gain and bandwidth. Even with A cross impedance of 1 x 10 8 V/A, it can still provide a 3 dB bandwidth of 220 kHz, and a gain of 10 2 with a bandwidth of up to 200 MHz equivalent. If for some applications the full bandwidth is not required to support the highest sensitivity, accurate current measurements as low as the Yanaan range can be performed by switching to a 10 MHz or 1 MHz bandwidth.
