The intelligent dew point and temperature probe DMP5 is designed for in-line humidity measurement in industrial drying applications with higher temperatures and wide dew point ranges.The sturdy stainless steel long probe and optional mounting flange make installation easy with adjustable depth through the insulation (for example, in a furnace). The DMP5 combines a stable, accurate and reliable Vaisala sensor that is immune to particles, oil mist and most chemicals. The sensor heating function greatly reduces the risk of condensation accumulated on the sensor.If the DRYCAP® sensor becomes damp, it dries quickly and restores rapid response times. In low humidity environments, the sensor will be automatically calibrated to ensure accurate measurements.

Direct dew point measurement during high temperature processing: The intelligent DMP5 is suitable for in-line dew point measurement during high temperature processing. The dew point range is from -40°C (-40°F) to 100°C (212°F). The probe has an accuracy of ± 2°C at 140°C (284°F), but can safely operate up to 180°C (+365°F). Installation is simple, as the probe can be installed directly during the machining process. There is no need for a sampling system or tracking heating of the sample line for in-line measurements.
Vaisala DRYCAP® Sensors for accurate and reliable measurements: Vaisala DRYCAP® sensors are stable, accurate and reliable. It is immune to particle pollution, oil mist and most chemicals. The sensor heating function reduces the risk of condensation building up on the sensor. If the DRYCAP® sensor becomes damp, it can quickly dry and recover. Automatic calibration ensures accurate and stable measurements. Chemical removal The sensor is heated periodically to eliminate harmful chemicals. This helps maintain measurement accuracy during the calibration cycle in environments with high concentrations of chemicals and cleaners.
Use alone or with Indigo transmitter: The Intelligent DMP5 is part of the Vaisala Indigo family, so it can also be used with the Vaisala Indigo200 transmitter. These transmitters also have additional features, such as a display that visually presents data, easy access for probe configuration, and more options for connection, power voltage, and wiring. The built-in RS-485 Modbus RTU communication protocol means the DMP5 can be used as a standalone device or easily integrated into third-party systems. When used independently or in conjunction with the Indigo transmitter, the DMP5 can be connected to the Vysala Insight computer software for easy field calibration, probe configuration and equipment analysis.
