MQ-510 full spectrum underwater quantum meter is a tool for accurately measuring photosynthetic effective radiation (PAR).
Measuring PAR is critical: accurate PAR meters are critical to measuring the light intensity used for the precise growth of plants and other photosynthetic organisms in greenhouses, growth chambers, farms, gardens, aquariums and other agricultural systems. This underwater quantum meter is specially designed to measure underwater light intensity of biological, chemical and physical processes in natural waters and aquariums.
Underwater accuracy: When the quantum sensor is calibrated for air, the underwater PAR measurement reading may be low. MQ-510 applies the immersion effect correction factor to conduct real-time and accurate measurement under water. Accurately measure and combine the intensity of all photons between 400 and 700 nm, give a single PAR reading in micromoles per square meter per second with an uncertainty of 5% underwater. Moreover, this instrument has stable and accurate calibration, and the annual precision drift rate is less than 2%.
Mass quantum meter: MQ-510 has a laboratory level PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density) or "quantum" optical detector that has been accurately calibrated and can measure the light intensity of specific color wavelengths emitted by LED, HPS, MH, sunlight, plants and other light sources used by corals for photosynthesis.
Robust and easy to use: Quantum sensor heads are made of machined aluminum and encapsulated with epoxy resin, which can be used for many years in harsh environments, including underwater. The hand-held instrument is connected by cable and can display real-time readings, record samples, and record average intensity and daylight integration (DLI) measurements. Unlike the sensor head, the hand-held instrument is not waterproof.
Three measurement modes: the instrument has point measurement, sampling and logging modes, and will record the comprehensive daily total in moles per square meter per second. The sampling mode will record up to 99 manual measurements, and the logging mode will turn the instrument on and off, making measurements every 30 seconds. Every 30 minutes, the instrument will take an average of 60 30 second measurements and record the average value in the memory, up to 99 average values. Once filled, it will overwrite the old measurement with the new one. The daily light integration will be recorded from the average of 48 measurements to obtain a daily reading.
