Overview of MQ-610 ePAR Meter:

User 's Manual

The MQ-610 ePAR instrument is a new extended photosynthetically active radiation (ePAR) instrument used to accurately measure all light sources from 400 to 750 nm. MQ-610 can accurately measure the far red photons (700-750 nm) found in many next-generation LED lamps, the sun and other light sources, which cannot be measured by traditional PAR meters.

Accuracy and stability: accurately measure and combine the intensity of all photons between 400 and 750 nm to give a value of µ mol m within 5% uncertainty ˉ² s ˉ¹ Is a single ePAR reading in units. Our ePAR instruments have stable and accurate calibration, with an accuracy drift rate of less than 2% per year.

Robust and easy to use: Quantum sensor heads are made of machined aluminum and encapsulated with epoxy resin, which can be used for many years in harsh environments, including underwater. The hand-held instrument is connected by cable and can display real-time readings, record samples, and record average intensity and daylight integration (DLI) measurements. Unlike the sensor head, the hand-held instrument is not waterproof.

Three measurement modes: the instrument has point measurement, sampling and logging modes, and records inmol m ˉ² s ˉ¹is the comprehensive daily total. The sampling mode will record up to 99 manual measurements, and the logging mode will turn the instrument on and off, making measurements every 30 seconds. Every 30 minutes, the instrument will take an average of 60 30 second measurements and record the average value in the memory, up to 99 average values. Once filled, it will overwrite the old measurement with the new one. The daily light integration will be recorded from 48 average measurements to obtain a daily reading, which can be downloaded via the Apogee AC-100 cable and used with the accompanying Apogee AMS software.
