When paired, these two devices are powerful tools for monitoring photon flux density (PFD). Apogee's new SQ-640 sensor is designed to detect photons in the 340-1040 nm range that are less sensitive than typical quantum sensors. Detection of stray photons disturbing the dark period is very important for studying and preventing morphogenetic effects of some sensitive plants, such as hermaphroditism, stem elongation and poor flowering.
The new AT-100 microCache (µ Cache) micro recorder is a rugged, independent battery powered device that can collect more than 400000 data points, and use our free Apogee Connect application to connect your sensor to your iOS or Android device through Bluetooth. The application allows you to perform real-time measurements, set custom data recording intervals, monitor daylight integration and draw charts, ensure light cycles, download data sets, and more.
