The intelligent humidity and temperature probe HMP3 is designed for use in general purpose environments with moderate humidity and temperature levels. The probe structure enables the replacement of sensors in the field without the use of tools, suitable for industrial HVAC systems, paint chambers, clean rooms, environmental chambers, and applications where regular recalibration is not sufficient to maintain measurement accuracy.
Features:
For general humidity and temperature processes:
The intelligent HMP3 is a versatile probe suitable for a variety of industrial applications with moderate humidity and temperature levels. It uses Vaisala's thin-film capacitive humidity measurement technology, which has been widely used. Visala's HUMICAP® technology provides excellent stability, fast response times, and low wet hysteresis in a variety of applications.
Replaceable sensors with several filter options:
The design is suitable for many industrial environments and allows flexible on-site maintenance. For applications requiring frequent replacement of components, filter and sensor components can be exchanged on site.
Filters suitable for HMP3 include stainless steel 12µl filters (for applications such as air control units), sintered stainless steel filters (for applications that require a significant degree of dust protection), and PPS plastic grille filters (for reduced humidity response time).
Use alone or with Indigo transmitters:
The RS-485 Modbus RTU communication protocol inside the smart probe means that the HMP3 can be used as a standalone device. It can also be easily integrated into other systems. The intelligent HMP3 is part of the Vaisala Indigo family, so it can also be used with the Vaisala Indigo200 transmitter.
These transmitters also have additional features, such as a display that visually presents data, easy access for probe configuration, and more options for connection, power voltage, and wiring. When using HMP3 on its own or in conjunction with Indigo transmitters, it can be connected to the free Visala Insight software for easy field calibration, probe configuration and device analysis.
When using HMP3 independently or in conjunction with Indigo transmitters, it can be connected to the free Vysala Insight PC software for easy field calibration, probe configuration and device analysis.
