SQ-520 full spectrum quantum USB sensor is used to accurately measure photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) of light source.





High quality quantum sensor: this sensor has a laboratory level PPFD (photosynthetic photon flux density) or a precisely calibrated "quantum" optical detector, which can measure the light intensity of specific color wavelengths emitted by LED, HPS, MH, sunlight and other light sources for photosynthesis of plants.

USB compatibility: The intelligent quantum sensor can be directly connected to a computer (Windows or macOS X), and the accompanying Apogee Connect software can be used for on-site measurement or real-time PPFD of mapping and data recording. The sensor can also be used as an independent PAR data recorder by connecting it to most standard 5 V DC USB power plugs.

Accuracy and stability: The sensor accurately measures and combines the intensity of all photons between 400 and 700 nm, giving a single PAR reading in µmol mˉ² sˉ¹ with an uncertainty of 5%. It has stable and accurate calibration, and the annual precision drift rate is less than 2%.

Robust and easy to use: Quantum sensor heads are made of machined aluminum and encapsulated with epoxy resin, which can be used for many years in harsh environments, including underwater. The internal memory in the sensor head can store 10000 periodic measurement values specified by the user, which can be downloaded to the computer as CSV files for analysis
